Job Description

You are someone who excels in a business ownership environment. You enjoy working with cross-functional teams and provide leadership and guidance to your portfolio stakeholders, leveraging and understanding insights to drive decisions and improvements. You’re a brand enthusiast with a deep understanding of the B2B customer experience. You have a desire to challenge the status-quo, able to work collaboratively and confidently with multiple stakeholders across different business units to ensure alignment on marketing communications deliverables.

You will be responsible for supporting the roll-out of our business brand across the organization, the communication both internal and external and will play a key role in managing our social media presence including our web.



  • Manage 1 employee handling social media and events
  • Manage internal (corporate and divisional) and external communications (digital, social media, events campaigns, etc.) across the company.
  • Elaborate and manage brand assets and ensure brand standards are adhered to.
  • Strategize and manage communication and marketing strategies.
  • Create key deliverables and content (White Paper, Presentation, Video, Marketing material, etc.).
  • Support brand & product campaigns including brief development, media planning, creative development, social/content creation, agency integration.
  • Work alongside our agency partners to help with creative and media strategy development.
  • Manage web sites with CMS (WordPress).
  • Manage SEO strategy with partners.
  • Manage email campaigns.
  • Manage marketing events such as trade shows, Webinars, etc.



  • You are a self-starter, an entrepreneurial, have an ownership mentality and are naturally curious.
  • A track record of developing, executing, and optimizing effective brand and communication campaigns.
  • Client and/or agency experience within the B2B space.
  • Exemplary organizational and project management skills.
  • Very strong writing/content development skills (English and French).
  • Respected for taking ownership, initiative, and display a sense of urgency and self-direction.
  • You have an eye for detail and are a creative minded individual.
  • Solid understanding of marketing communication tactics and objectives.
  • Excellent knowledge of computer tools required for presentation and information sharing (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills coupled with superior interpersonal/leadership skills.
  • Bilingual is mandatory (French/English).
  • Steel Industry or manufacturing based industry experience is an asset.
  • 5+ years’ experience leading brand initiatives in marketing, marketing communications, or an agency setting.
  • Proficiency with content management software (WordPress).
  • Community management experience.
  • Social Media management experience.
  • Public Relationship experience.
  • Ability in communicating with Executives.
  • Have been acting as marketing manager.
