Job Description

Main Mission:

Under the supervision of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the Security Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents. He / She will work closely with IT teams and automation engineers to ensure the security of the company’s information systems and OT network.


  • Monitor security systems for suspicious activities or security breaches.
  • Assist automation engineers in deploying and using secure solutions.
  • Analyze security incidents and prepare detailed reports on security events.
  • Implement and manage security solutions to protect the company’s information systems.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to address identified security vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and security advice to employees.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in cybersecurity.


  • Degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), firewalls (Fortinet and Cisco), antivirus, and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of network infrastructure design, network administration (Cisco CCENT/CCNA), and cybersecurity.
  • Good knowledge of virtual environments, VMWare vSphere/vCenter, Azure or AWS.
  • Knowledge of automation operations, including Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI), Programmable Logic Controllers (Allen Bradley, Schneider, and Siemens), and OPC connectivity. SCADA software. Knowledge of historian technologies and automation solutions is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze security logs and reports to identify suspicious activities.
  • Skills in incident management and incident response.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are an advantage.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and ability to accurately document and report incidents.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to stay informed about developments in cybersecurity.
  • Bilingual (English/French), both spoken and written.
  • Access to a car and a valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel to Quebec, Ontario, the US, and Mexico if required (rarely).
